It’s a cautionary tale about the implosion of a major Canadian law firm, and it shows readers what happens when management neglects the firm’s mission and culture. Norman Bacal founded the Toronto office of Heenan Blaikie in 1989, and within the next 25 years grew it to an office of over 200 lawyers. In 1997 he became the national co-managing partner of the firm and helped it become one of Canada’s best-known law firms.

I am about to launch my first book, Breakdown at the end of February; working on giving birth to my “baby” with Sarah and her team of professionals has been a wonderful experience.
