Lisa Fitterman has won a national book prize - barlowbooks

Montreal writer Lisa Fitterman has worked with many of our Barlow authors, and he has just co-written a crime book with her husband, noted journalist and author Julian Sher. It’s called Hitman, and it tells the story of a Montreal mobster who killed 43 people and got away with it, until he turned himself in to avoid being killed by other mobsters. Now Julian and Lisa have won a national award given out by the Crime Writers of Canada: The Brass Knuckles Award for Best Nonfiction Crime Book. Congratulations, Lisa and Julian!
