Dr. Rafiq Andani
Dr. Rafiq Andani is a physician and an assistant professor of family medicine at the University of Manitoba. He has practised family, emergency, and hospital medicine across rural, remote, and urban Manitoba and has served in provincial leadership roles focused on system coordination and capacity management. He also holds an MSc in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from the London School of Economics.
This combination of clinical and economic training, frontline experience, and operational leadership informs his work on how system design, governance, and incentives shape access and outcomes in publicly funded universal healthcare.
