Satya Brata Das - barlowbooks

Satya Brata Das is an influential global strategist, adviser, writer and storyteller. He has used his skills in policy, diplomacy, strategy, and advocacy to push sustainability, meet the climate challenge, and fund inclusive societal development. Das has participated in many of the world’s top meetings to fight climate change and bring about sustainable development. He was the first Global Chair of the Washington DC think tank, The Digital Economist.

Das was one of the first Canadian journalists of colour who overcame systemic racist barriers to rise to the top of the profession. He serves on several boards of directors that all contribute to the common good, and he’s a member of the audit committee the Canadian Heritage Department, which promotes Canadian values, heritage, culture and pluralistic identity.

Das lives in Edmonton, Alberta, where he and his life partner Mita raised two daughters and enjoy the company of their grandchildren.
