Seema Dhanoa is a values-based leader who is passionate about creating a sustainable future. Well-versed in design thinking, business process, and implementation methodologies, Seema led the strategy and planning to create the first social impact-based bank in Canada. Her diverse 20-year career in the financial services industry and education has included strategy, transformation, innovation, digital, and technology implementation as well as enterprise business integration and execution. Seema has written about unconscious bias for The Huffington Post, and her innovative implementation of a simplification framework is featured in the book Why Simple Wins by Lisa Bodell. Seema speaks publicly on issues pertaining to gender equity and leading with the whole self.
Seema holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Her decade-long meditation and mindfulness practice has been a significant part of her journey.
